Cherkasy Jazz Days

Well, it's time the city of Cherkasy, wrapped in the sounds of jazz. Today it launched the international festival "Cherkasy Jazz Days 2012". The event has already become a tradition, and this year it takes place in the twenty-fourth time.

Residents and visitors can listen to a local, all-Ukrainian and international bands and performers. So, today a special guest of the evening was Quintet Saskia Lara (Netherlands - United States), a charming vocalist and master at playing the trumpet. A pleasant evening, and did: a trio of Andrei Arnautova (Kiev) and big band Cherkasy musical school under the direction of Nicholas Evpaka.

The festival will last for two days, so you can quickly collect your bags and get on the presentation of yet another special guest of the evening - "4 TENORS» (Moscow), a project that brings together the four super-professionals of Russian jazz stars who do not normally play together, but for the Cherkassy festival did a nice exception. As well as a singer Mlada with the project «Ethno Fantasy Music» (Kiev) and Cherkasy Jazz Quintet Sergei Krasheninnikov, and many other famous jazz performers and enjoyable.
